The Role
The Corporate Market Access Manager (CMAM) is responsible for the development of the global market access strategy and ensuring implementation at local level with the final goal to achieve optimal access for patients globally. This includes assessment and development of the value proposition for the products under its responsibility. The role has a global scope and takes care of products both in development and marketed. For this purpose, the CMAM will work closely with the Corporate Pricing Manager and as an integrated core function of the Global Brand teams, interacting also with the Development teams as well as Local teams. To be successful, the CMAM must be able to work in a matrix setting, have analytical and organizational skills, together with the capacity to influence its peers and local teams.
The position will report to the Global Head of Market Access, part of the Corporate Marketing and Market Access Department.
What will the role do
1. In close collaboration with the Corporate Pricing Manager, develop and lead the global Market Access strategy for the products under its responsibility.
2. Assess products’ value proposition, development plans and ensure study designs, variables and outcomes meet market access requirements in the different regions. Prepare & lead when needed early consultations with HTA bodies. Prepare the early market access strategy for development products.
3. Generate the evidence required to demonstrate the product added value in terms of Health Economics and Observational Studies and develop relevant Market Access materials, as well as the HEOR publication plan, for payer engagement to support local teams for optimal access.
4. Prepare and update the Global Value Dossier and Value Messages to collect the value proposition.
5. Together with the global pricing manager, develop and help execute solutions to support national/sub-national pricing and reimbursement strategy implementation by strategic contracting options for the key markets.
6. Review, support and approve local Pricing & Reimbursement submissions.
7. Collect and understand local needs and challenge local plans to ensure implementation of the global strategy in the local setting.
8. As part of the strategic brand teams, feed the market access perspective and align the product strategy among functions.
9. Monitor and report Market Access dynamics across the globe, feeding into the strategy and adapting the value proposition.
10. Within the broader team of market access, contribute to the design and implementation of processes, tools and governance structures.
11. Participate in wider cross-functional projects to ensure cross-fertilization and collaboration among different areas and horizontal growth.

Requirements
What you’ll need to succeed

20. Life Sciences or Economics degree with specialization in Health Economics.
21. Minimum 5-year experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research.
22. Global role or knowledge of market access requirements in different geographies desirable.
23. High ability to drive and implement, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
24. Ability to negotiate at all levels internally and externally and be accountable for assigned budget allocation.
25. Strong analytic, organizational, leadership and influence skills.
26. Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
