As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Building and optimizing data pipelines using Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL / ELT), ensuring data quality and consistency.
* Implementing and managing data solutions in AWS, leveraging services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and others for storage, processing, and analysis.
* Applying knowledge of authentication, encryption, anonymization, and masking to protect sensitive data and comply with security regulations.
* Designing and implementing REST, OData, and GraphQL APIs to expose data to users or applications, facilitating access and usability.
* Configuring and managing tools like Denodo to expose data virtually, optimizing access to large volumes of information for users.
Work Schedule:
* Full-time position (40 hours per week)
* Option for remote work 2 days per week and 3 days on-site at the client's offices.
Requirements:
We require a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, but above all, motivation and enthusiasm for high-quality work.
Required:
* Experience in data projects using Python and SQL.
* Experience with APIs for data publishing: REST, OData, GraphQL.
* Experience in AWS Cloud Computing (S3, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Glue, Redshift, etc.).
* Knowledge of Denodo.
* Knowledge of security and privacy: authentication, encryption, anonymization, and masking.
Nice to have:
* Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance for handling sensitive data.
* Version control: Git and GitHub.
* Data consolidation and storage using tools like Snowflake.
* Data transformation and modeling with dbt.
* Apache Kafka and Apache Beam.
* CI / CD: Jenkins and Docker.
