We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing our relationship with a large global F&B client. This role requires a proactive approach to identify new opportunities, engage with client stakeholders at various levels, and collaborate with our India-based delivery team to ensure the successful planning and execution of projects and programs. The role requires the ability to comprehend technical solutions and work on IT strategy with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Client Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders at various levels.
* Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring clear and effective communication.
* Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
* Address client questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
* Lead site visits or business reviews as needed.
Opportunity Identification:
* Proactively identify whitespaces and determine opportunity areas within the client's business.
* Develop strategies to leverage these opportunities to drive business growth.
* Present new ideas and solutions to the client to enhance their operations and achieve their goals.
* Continuously advise clients on improving their implementations and operations.
IT Strategy Preparation:
* Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to prepare and refine IT strategies.
* Ensure alignment of IT strategies with the client's overall business objectives.
* Provide insights and recommendations to optimize IT investments and initiatives.
Project and Program Management:
* Collaborate with the India-based delivery team to plan and execute projects and programs.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the client and internal stakeholders.
* Oversee technical projects and ensure successful implementation.
Risk Mitigation:
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure proactive measures are in place to address and resolve issues promptly.
Client Satisfaction:
* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
* Conduct regular reviews with the client to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Provide technical and business context to internal teams to meet client expectations.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within the IT consulting and services industry.
* Strong understanding of the F&B industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to engage with client stakeholders at various levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with offshore delivery teams, particularly in India.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
* Technical acumen to provide support and context to internal teams.
* Experience in IT strategy preparation and risk mitigation.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management or a related role working with senior client stakeholders.
* Experience working with large, global clients is preferred.
