Procurement Excellence Technician Role
This position supports the implementation and maintenance of procurement excellence initiatives, executing daily procurement activities and ensuring compliance with established processes.
* Provide support to the procurement team.
* Maintain procurement records and documentation.
* Assist with supplier evaluations and performance tracking.
* Support the implementation of procurement software and tools.
* Conduct routine audits of procurement processes.
* Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and presentations.

This role involves executing day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring compliance with established processes, and providing support to the procurement team.
Responsibilities
* Implement procurement initiatives.
* Maintain records and documentation for procurement activities.
* Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
* Support the procurement team with data and analysis.
* Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
* Conduct basic market research to support procurement decisions.
* Prepare procurement reports and summaries for management.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of procurement databases.
* Ensure compliance with ethical standards in procurement practices.
* Provide administrative support to the procurement team.
* Collaborate with IT for procurement systems implementation and maintenance.
* Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions.
* Monitor and track procurement performance metrics.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement transactions.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
Key qualifications include knowledge of procurement processes and best practices, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, good communication and team collaboration abilities, and ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
