Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Manager who will have responsibility for building sales pipeline, developing strong relationships with channel/distribution customers, and identifying new business opportunities. The role will be accountable for promoting sales as well as increasing revenue within the Southern European region. The Account Manager will provide leadership and management in working with assigned accounts and cross-functional teams.
This is an office-based role in Barcelona with possibility of remote work and travel requirement around 15%.
What You Will Do
* Driving profitable growth within a defined territory and/or market.
* Develop, foster, and expand customer network by applying traditional and digital sales tactics.
* Responsible for managing and maintaining individual pipeline.
* Support with complex Request for Quotations (RFQs) and pricing negotiations.
* Identify and develop projects within your portfolio using tools such as Salesforce.
* Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers.
* Develop new and innovative ideas that enhance the customer’s experience.
* Capture both technical and commercial customer requirements in collaboration with multiple Business Units.
* Work with lead generation and marketing teams to understand and nurture leads through multiple digital and social media channels.
* Work together with our customers to understand their needs, challenges, and growth opportunities, and develop and deliver a customized growth strategy.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Fluent communication skills in English and French.
* Ability to prioritize and operate independently and effectively.
* Open-minded towards digital sales tactics to grow business (i.e., digital marketing, and social media).
* Passionate about using modern communication technology to develop and perform presentations and demos virtually and thinking in a creative, non-linear fashion.
* Able to analyze sales trends and changing market conditions and define success metrics within customers.
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and engage potential customers.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience working in the electronics industry.
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent in the field of electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar.
* Electronic application and connector knowledge.
* Any other additional South European language skills.
