Role Overview
As a Sales Manager with our vibrant Spanish team and reporting to the Head of Sales, you will carry out a multifaceted leadership role that entails managing a robust sales force consisting of 20 sales professionals and 3 team leaders. Your core mission is to develop and execute a robust sales strategy that scales our presence within the clinics healthcare market, managing the entire sales cycle from pipeline management to deal closure, and elevating the team’s performance through effective coaching and process optimization.
You will be expected to lead by example by leveraging your experience in SaaS sales, preferably in high-growth or in-market environments to recruit top talent, maintain accurate CRM practices, and foster a high-performance culture while delivering high-quality work. Your strategic mindset will be crucial in establishing and executing a unified GTM approach to the clinical sector, which is globally our most strategic segment and where we are currently developing the latest AI products.
How will you impact our mission:
* Team Management and Leadership
o Manage the sales team, ensuring they are motivated, engaged, aligned with the company's objectives, and lead them to deliver the expected results.
o Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent, creating a robust team capable of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
o Implement structured coaching programs and training initiatives to develop sales skills and methodologies across the team.
o Monitor team activity levels to ensure a healthy pipeline and a steady flow of sales opportunities, employing routines and goal-setting to maintain momentum.
* Strategic Sales Execution
o Oversee and be involved in the details of day-to-day sales operations, actively participating in a culture of success and achievement within the team.
o Set clear KPIs and assess performance; initiate and track improvement strategies.
o Ensure smooth and efficient sales processes and CRM management, maintaining a strong commitment to CRM discipline and process optimization.
* Business Development
o Embrace our growth mindset, seeking new opportunities to enhance sales techniques, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation.
o Collect, analyze, and communicate sales KPIs to the broader organization to map success and areas requiring attention.
o Analyze local sales processes, highlighting differences and best practices to evolve scalable and effective solutions.
o Act as a point of contact with other revenue functions to drive strategic decision-making and ensure sales strategies are integrated into the broader company goals.
o Contribute to workforce planning to meet local sales priorities and business needs.
Qualifications
* Professional Experience and Expertise
o 7+ years of experience in Sales leadership in high-growth SaaS/Marketplace with SMB market focus.
o Proven experience successfully scaling a sales team in numbers and performance.
o Competence in using OKRs to drive focus on results for both individual and team objectives.
o Established background in engaging directly in hiring processes as a key decision-maker and effectively managing onboarding and terminations.
* Strategic and Analytical Skills
o Strong analytical thinking; you base your decisions on numbers, building your own rationales.
o A doer: you are hands-on and detail-oriented, willing to jump into a demo or dig deep in CRM when needed.
o Processes & CRM obsession; what is not on the CRM does not exist, and wrong processes do not scale.
o A builder with strategic thinking; proactively identifying opportunities to grow the business line further.
* Leadership and Soft Skills
o Inspirational leadership qualities with the capacity to drive behavior and instill a passionate approach to sales goals within the team.
o Experience in hiring and onboarding as a final decision-maker, knowing how to recruit successful reps and build a structured plan to help them thrive.
o Ability to develop & train the team in a structured way, mastering sales methodologies and measuring progression.
o Creating pipeline is a core function of the team; able to set goals and routines to make it happen.
o Ability to inspire trust and create a fun, enjoyable work environment while being committed to the overarching mission.
