Sales Executive - Edge Computing OrchestrationAbout Us:Nearby Computing is deep tech startup that has developed its own advanced Edge-to-Cloud orchestration SW platform. As we continue to scale and acquire new Tier1 accounts in many industry verticals, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Sales to lead and grow our sales function and help us achieve our ambitious goals, and prepare the company for a medium-term boost in its commercial activity.Role Overview: As the Head of Sales, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, coordinating a world-class sales team, and executing the company’s go-to-market strategy. You will leverage your extensive experience in enterprise software sales to develop and manage sales processes, build strong customer relationships, and lead the team in achieving key performance targets. You will work closely with the leadership team to refine our sales approach and position Nearby Computing as a leader in the edge computing space.Key Responsibilities:Lead and scale the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with the company’s vision and goals.Implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in existing and new markets.Support the sales team in identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value deals with enterprise customers, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders.Own and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring robust forecasting, opportunity management, and timely delivery of sales targets, by implementing a clear revenue-oriented and data-driven framework of actions and processes, from marketing to post-sales.Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and optimize the customer journey.Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to continually refine the sales strategy.Select, mentor and develop new sales team members, providing coaching and guidance to help them succeed and grow in their roles.Report on sales performance, key metrics, and forecasts to the executive leadership team.Requirements:8+ years of proven sales experience in enterprise software companies with a demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving growth.Experience selling complex software solutions, ideally in the deep tech, SaaS, or enterprise technology space.Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing sales teams.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and decision-makers.Experience working in fast-paced startup and scale-up environments and adapting to rapidly changing business needs.Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop sales forecasts, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.A deep understanding of sales methodologies, tools, and best practices.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Alternatively, technical BS with extensive proven experience in the sales strategy and coordination area.
