We are an industry specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles. With the support of 4,000 employees across 6 countries, operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers, we serve over 100 clients.
At Draxton Barcelona, one of our foundry plants located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona), we are looking for an Industrial Controller to join our team. You will report hierarchically to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Head of Controlling for E&A.
In this role, you will play a key part in internal control and economic awareness within our plant. You will detect deviations, plan corrective actions, anticipate performance trends, and provide critical insights for strategic decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Prepare the annual Budget and Forecasts in collaboration with the Plant Director. Coordinate, analyze, and validate data from various departments. Ensure timely submission of group reporting.
2. Guarantee the accurate valuation of stock and send reports to accounting. Analyze production data to identify inconsistencies, propose adjustments, and assist in calculating provisions for closing.
3. Prepare and submit the monthly reporting to headquarters. Analyze results and provide detailed reports to plant management.
4. Monitor cost evolution, consumption, expenses, sales, and product margins. Identify inefficiencies, propose corrective actions, and oversee cost control.
5. Manage cost center accounting, analyze variances, and monitor expense limits.
6. Support Plant Management, Finance, and Industrial Teams with ad-hoc studies and analysis. Ensure DPO objectives are SMART and well-founded.
7. Enter Budget data into ERP (ProdPed/BI) and monitor real KPI performance (daily and monthly), ensuring accuracy and compliance with improvement plans.
8. Calculate standard and actual product costs, tracking cost evolution.
9. Conduct profitability analysis of projects, comparing actual vs. projected performance.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. Background in Finance and/or Engineering.
2. Intermediate English (minimum B2)—you will use it daily.
3. +4 years of proven experience in Controlling within the Industrial sector.
4. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
