Your area of application
The IT department is responsible for and designs the entire IT of the City of Munich. We ensure that IT provision meets the city's current and future needs. We drive the digitalization of the city of Munich and play a pioneering role. Our work and our services make the city of Munich a digital metropolis that sets standards that its employees are proud of.
As part of the IT department, we ensure a modern IT and telecommunications infrastructure, implement professional IT solutions and secure the IT operations of the City of Munich with over 1,200 employees in our own company.
What you can expect
As team leader for the Application Operations & Support team in the eFile Competence Center, you will be responsible for the city-wide eFile and digital personnel file, including operation and maintenance of the IT systems, analysis and rectification of faults, compliance with the agreed service levels, monitoring of the IT systems including capacity management, implementation of operational security measures and system optimizations. You will play an active role in shaping the development phase of your team, which has already begun, and establish standard processes. Across all areas of responsibility, you will involve your team, actively develop it further and shape cooperation with the other teams.

You have
* a successfully completed university degree in computer science, administrative informatics or business informatics or
* a successfully completed university degree or equivalent skills and experience
* many years (at least three years) of professional experience in the IT sector
Applicants who are already employed as civil servants by another employer can only be considered by way of transfer or secondment.
In particular, you must have
* Specialist knowledge and experience in designing and building IT solutions
* Result and goal orientation, in particular technical problem-solving skills
* Willingness to lead, in particular a sense of responsibility
The following are an advantage
* Experience in the implementation and system management of e-file systems
* Experience in supplier and service management
