Job Description: Senior Financial Analyst Spain
The Senior Financial Analyst Spain is responsible for financial planning and reporting, working closely with the finance department located in Barcelona.
Financial Planning and Reporting
This role will support country-specific transactional analytics and budgeting/forecasting, analyzing country variations from forecasts and prior periods, and identifying trends and gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support country-specific transactional analytics and budgeting/forecasting.
* Analyze country variations from forecasts and prior periods, offering explanations for variances, and helping local Business Management determine countermeasures.
* Identify trends, gaps, and provide comprehensive variance financial analysis.
* Act as a Finance Business Partner within an international matrix organization, including contact with several internal and external stakeholders (banks, lawyers, insurances, etc.).
Requirements
* Degree in business administration, engineering, or statistics with 5+ years of experience, ideally in the healthcare sector.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, NetSuite).
* Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau is a major plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex data and providing actionable insights.
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience in a large multinational environment, capable of interacting with senior management, and presenting financial data clearly; international work or study experience.
* Business curiosity, a mindset for continuous improvement, and familiarity with PSP/Kaizen methodologies is advantageous.
