Mission:
As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will work in coordination with, and report to, another lawyer in the department who holds the position of Senior Legal Counsel. You will also collaborate with external advisors and engage directly with the Group’s business teams.
For our Legal Department EMEA & APAC, we are looking to add an international lawyer to our internal team that provides legal assistance in approximately 45 countries.
Your responsibilities:
* Corporate: Establishing and managing the corporate life of various types of national and international companies, including their administrative bodies, minutes, certificates, powers of attorney, etc.
* Contracting: Drafting and negotiating all types of commercial contracts, both national and international (particularly confidentiality agreements, distribution, agency, manufacturing, service provision, real estate, technology, turnkey projects, etc.)
* M&A: Conducting national and international mergers and acquisitions operations.
* Financial: Drafting and negotiating financing contracts.
* Litigation: Coordinating disputes within the Group, and supervising and managing these with external lawyers.
* Legal inquiries: Resolving legal inquiries from other departments within the Group, and participating in cross-functional projects with the Tax, Insurance, Treasury, HR, IP, IT, Data Protection, Business, Product Compliance teams, etc.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
* Bachelor's Degree in Law.
* Additional qualifications such as a Master's in Corporate Legal Advisory or training in International / Business Law are a plus.
* 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international business environment or top-tier law firm.
* Proficiency in English, Spanish, and French.
* Strong problem-solving skills, business mindset, and ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong focus on delivering results.
