What you´ll do
* Delivers against technical performance KPIs, budget and projects
* Acts as key contact for local authorities in the area of responsibility
* To define and manages all technical activities and projects in the plant
* Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects (electrical, mechanical, civil, …)
* Implements a technology strategy to ensure safety, efficient production and high quality products
* Sets up and executes development plans for production personnel, esp. regarding training in Engineering and technology
* Ensures operations processes and solutions are implemented according to global procedures and local regulations
* Has legal responsibility for fulfilling SHEQ requirements (ISO, legal requirements)
* Defines strategy and resources of the engineering department
* Responsibility of strategy and execution in Facility department: Energy management, buildings, compress air,…
What makes you a good fit
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in areas such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering).
* 3-5 years of experience leading engineering and Facility department
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Fluent level of English and Spanish
* Problem-solving abilities, results-oriented and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
* - Team player and ability to work well within a team and to support senior management in engineering operations.
