The Project Manager is responsible for executing the project in compliance with the given requirements, ensuring project success, customer satisfaction, and professional stakeholder management.
Area of Responsibilities:
1. Acquisition and contract negotiation
2. Project organization and management
3. Project controlling and project reporting
4. Contract management incl. claim management
5. Stakeholder management
6. Opportunity and risk management
7. Organization and management of project team
8. Communication and knowledge management
9. Compliance within the Project
10. HR Management
Main Tasks:
1. Participation in the sales/project initiation phase, by analyzing customer requirements and checking their technical feasibility and transferability into a bid or project cost plan
2. Carry out or attend contract negotiations
3. Ensure the use of Siemens products, where available and applicable
4. Ensure compliance with the corresponding LoA process, where applicable
5. Check the project costing for financial efficiency
6. Involve the corresponding partners in the sales/project initiation phase
Experience & Knowledge required:
1. Comprehensive (deep and broad) professional know-how and experience in international railway projects.
2. 2/3 years of experience in railway signaling company as a Project Manager.
3. Advance technical knowledge of I/L, ERTMS, and Centralized Traffic Control systems.
4. International experience, with global interaction with customers/partners/providers from multiple countries.
5. Education: Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, etc.
6. Proficient spoken and written English and Spanish.
7. Travel required.
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
