LOGISTICS MANAGER
The Mission of this position is:
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for the definition and implementation of the department Logistics’ strategy which encompasses the following areas: storage, transport, demand planning, procurement, control of external suppliers. You will lead the business relationship with key suppliers such as Customs and forwarding agencies, transport companies and logistics warehouses.
Your main task will be to keep customers supplied with the final product on time and in the manner agreed with them, achieving logistics costs in line with the objective of each product.
YOUR TASKS:
1. Define the stock and warehouse policy and strategy, as well as implement and carry out the necessary processes to supply products in the different warehouses.
2. Define the goods transport policy and strategy, as well as implement and carry out the necessary processes to supply products in the different warehouses and to customers.
3. Management and monitoring of the production-finished product planning VS needs.
4. Coordinate and confirm availability dates of finished products to customers and departments involved, controlling ETD/ ETA dates.
5. Compliance with delivery conditions, documentation and packaging to customers.
6. Registration and maintenance of logistic data and prices in excel / master data in Microsoft Dynamics.
7. Negotiate with suppliers: costs, delivery times and quality of service (SLA's).
8. Search for constant alternatives in air/sea/land transport.
9. Controlling the reception of finished product, returns and transport orders between warehouses/customers and associated documentation (delivery notes, CMR's, Packing list, Proformas, Fras, cartons, B/Ls, Cert. Origin).
10. Direct management of freight forwarders/carriers/customs.
11. Report departures to clients.
12. Coordinate logistical operations and documentation with the different Incoterms and Intrastat documentation.
YOUR PROFILE:
1. Professional with extensive experience in logistics-operations of >5 years in the activities described for this position.
2. Experience in manufacturing-production activity in sectors such as mass-market distribution, toys, household appliances, consumer durables, automotive, household equipment-furniture-homeware, electronics.
3. University education preferably in some type of engineering or business area (ADE; Economics, Business Studies...)
4. High level of English (essential).
5. Experience in business relations and management of agreements with partners-suppliers at a global level.
6. Experience in supplier development and improvement.
7. Good ability to develop successful and long term personal relationships in international environments.
8. Willingness to travel.

The company offers an undefined contract for full-time position and the salary package is composed of a fixed salary, plus variable salary according to the goals accomplished.
