Job Description
Find your place at Amaris Consulting as Oracle Database Expert in Barcelona (remote possibility within Spain and Portugal), for one of our main partners in the electric energy sector. Start your new adventure in an international and agile environment by evaluating and recommending best practices for database models and architecture.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Research and evaluate new database trends and technologies and provide best practices and recommendations.
* Install and configure Oracle Database.
* Create Tables, Views, Indexes, and Sequences; write complex queries, Joins, Analytical functions, Procedures.
* Database capacity planning, version upgrades, and migrations.
* Installation, configuration, and maintenance of all types of Database management systems (DBMS).
* Work closely and effectively to maintain good relationships with software development and project management.
* Monitor capacity and performance, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve a wide variety of problems.
WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oracle, deployment, and maintenance.
* Technical exposure to other relational database environments such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
* Technical understanding of non-relational database environments.
* Experience with complex migration.
* Previous experience in Support.
* English fluency is a must; any other language would be considered a plus.
Mobility: Barcelona or remote within Spain or Portugal.
NICE TO HAVE
* Knowledge of other Oracle products.
* Oracle certifications.
* Strong ability to prepare and present technical documentation.
