We are looking for an enthusiastic Launch Manager to join our dynamic Adalvo team. This position offers an opportunity to well-suited candidates to join a growing, fast paced energetic environment and culture.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Launch Manager leads crossâfunctional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute the successful commercialization of new products for B2B (BusinessâtoâBusiness) customers. This individual ensures launches meet regulatory, quality, and timeline requirements while also maximizing commercial potential. They serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams to drive onâtime, inâscope, and onâbudget launch delivery, while overseeing the launch process with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
This role reports directly to the Head of Launch Management and collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Tech Transfer, IP and Commercial teams, as well as CMOs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
* Launch Planning & Coordination
* Develop and maintain comprehensive launch project plans (including milestone tracking, critical paths, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies) for new products.
* Ensure the alignment of regulatory, quality, supply chain, commercial, and business development activities with the target launch schedule.
* Facilitate crossâfunctional kickâoff meetings, project reviews, and launch readiness checkpoints.
* Project & Stakeholder Management
* Serve as the main launch point of contact for internal departments.
* Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve project bottlenecks or crossâfunctional conflicts to keep the launch on track.
* Coordinate with Commercial and Business Development teams to ensure B2B customer requirements (timelines, volumes, packaging specifications, commercial forecasts) are fully integrated into the launch plan.
* Regulatory & Quality Alignment
* Understand and incorporate regulatory milestones (e.g., MA-s/ANDA approval, labeling requirements, postâapproval commitments) into launch timelines.
* Work closely with Quality teams to validate packaging, labeling, and product release processes, ensuring compliance with cGMP and relevant guidelines (FDA, EMA, etc.).
* Collaborate on risk management strategies (change controls, deviation management, CAPA) that may arise during product launches.
* Supply Chain & Operations
* Partner with Supply Chain/Operations to secure raw materials, packaging components, and production slots at external manufacturing sites.
* Oversee inventory planning to ensure adequate stock levels for launch and ongoing supply, while minimizing excess or obsolescence.
* Define and track KPIs to measure launch performance.
* Commercial & Financial Insights
* Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to establish launch budgets, revenue forecasts, pricing, and profitability targets.
* Monitor launch performance vs. budget; provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, potential risks, and recommended solutions.
* Drive commercial alignment to ensure the productâs value proposition and customer agreements are met.
* Communication & Reporting
* Provide regular status updates (written and verbal) to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
* Maintain project documentation (risk registers, action logs, decision logs) and archive best practices for continuous improvement.
* Lead postâlaunch reviews to capture lessons learned, identify improvement areas, and share feedback across the organization.
* Continuous Improvement
* Champion the development of standardized tools, processes, and best practices for launch management.
* Identify opportunities to streamline product launches (e.g., improved supply chain resilience, faster tech transfers, more efficient communication channels).
* Stay updated on industry trends (FDA guidance, global regulatory changes, competitor landscape) to continuously optimize the launch process.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
* University degree: Bachelorâs degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business. Advanced degree (MS) preferred.
* Experience:
* 5+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries, ideally in generic drug development and commercialization.
* Proven track record of leading crossâfunctional teams and driving projects to completion under strict deadlines.
* B2B environment experience or strong understanding of partnership management is highly desirable.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, cGMP, regulatory pathways, supply chain logistics, and commercial strategy for generics.
* Strong Supply Chain management experience
* Project Management: Proficiency in PM tools
* Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, influencing, and problemâsolving abilities; ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in a fastâpaced environment.
