Position Overview:
As the People Manager, you will be responsible for driving the People operations for our Spanish subsidiary. You will work closely with senior leadership to implement people strategies that enhance talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and talent management, ensuring we maintain a high performing and inclusive work environment.
This position reports to the Spain Country Mgr, and is based at Barajas Airport.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the leadership team to ensure alignment of People strategies with business goals.
* Oversee end to end People operations and the employee lifecycle management.
* Manage the recruitment process, from talent acquisition strategies to onboarding.
* Ensure compliance with local labor law and regulations.
* Provide guidance on employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
* Manage the relations with the Unions.
* Manage performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
* Supervise the data sent to the payroll, which is processed by the HQ team.
* Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
* Collaborate with the HQ People team to implement People policies and practices.
* Lead organizational development efforts, driving change management and continuous improvement.
* Analyze People metrics and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Qualifications:
1. 5 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail multinational.
2. Strong understanding of People practices, including talent acquisition, employee relations
