As our Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, your main responsibility is leading the electrical maintenance staff to support effective equipment and system maintenance and operations.
You are part of a larger team of dedicated, innovative and creative Maintenance professionals, each with their own specialization, and you report to the Maintenance Manager. As a team, you take part in the Global Maintenance Platform where you will internationally share knowledge and best practices. The maintenance department is continuously exploring new initiatives and new technologies to improve asset reliability such as Industrial Internet Of Things (IIOT) and predictive analysis devices.
You also play a key role in the site Continuous Improvement program where your team takes responsibility for the Asset Care pillar and supports other teams with their respective pillars.
Responsibilities
* Keep the plant operative by repairing any electrical/pneumatical equipment and instrument breakdown.
* Carry out and supervise the necessary preventive, predictive and corrective electrical/pneumatical/instrumentation maintenance, including calibration programs, in accordance with the reliability engineer.
* Lead the Planning and Scheduling process within electrical maintenance and coordinate external maintenance services to minimize shutdowns and cost repairs.
* Control and manage the store of electrical spare parts and instruments.
* Collaborate with all Reliability, Continuous Improvement and cross-functional activities, and give support to the Maintenance Platform activities.
* Troubleshoot complex problems, reoccurrences and high cost failures on the site related to electrical, pneumatic and instrumentation issues.
* Maintain in optimum conditions electrical plant services:
o High voltage connection and safety and measure cabins.
o Transformers and protection cabins.
o Low tension distribution cabins.
o Equipments to compensate reactive energy.
* Ensure safety, health, quality and environmental rules, procedures and instructions compliance that affects your own job and department.
Requirements
We are looking for a skilled people manager with a drive for improvement. A successful candidate will meet the following essential requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
* 3 years’ experience in Chemical industry (or Pharma)
* Leadership skills and experience in managing people
* Experience in electrical and instruments troubleshooting
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English/Spanish
In addition, your experience and education is complemented with one or more of the following:
* Knowledge of Low tension regulation (RD 617/2001), ATEX ISM level 1 electrical, Legionella, Work permits and LOTO
* Legal safety permit (Basic level course PRL 50h)
* Experience in Continuous Improvement programs or initiatives
* Knowledge on Food and Pharma regulations
* Hazop’s, RCA and SIL
* Maintenance management software skills (CMMS)
* Experience on packaging lines and filling machines
