About the Role:
As a Customer Service Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing customer service operations, ensuring high service standards, and meeting financial targets. You will coordinate cross-functional collaborations and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver financial targets for Customer Service (Field Service, training, upgrades, rebuilds).
* Ensure fast, complete, and cost-effective service delivery.
* Set up Service Level Agreements and maintenance contracts in collaboration with Aftermarket Sales.
* Manage complex customer claims using structured problem-solving methods.
* Define goals for Customer Service employees and monitor their performance.
* Work closely with Sales, Project, Engineering, and Assembly departments to meet customer needs.
* Provide structured feedback to Engineering to improve products.
* Coordinate with Coesia’s Service Organizations to optimize resource utilization.
* Communicate clearly and transparently with end-users, OEMs, distributors, and agents.
* Plan staffing, training, and recruitment in collaboration with HR.
* Prepare reports for strategic decision-making.
* Manage OPEX/CAPEX budgeting and cost control.
What You Need to Be Successful:
* Strong mechatronics knowledge.
* Experience in customer handling and negotiation.
* Understanding of multinational service needs.
* Field Service experience.
* Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.
* Empathy and problem-solving approach.
* Integrity, transparency, and teamwork.
* Innovation and execution focus.
* Willingness to travel up to 100 days per year.
