Optima Solutions Site Manager
This Optima Solutions Site Manager is a key member of the Optima Solutions organization as well as of the One PPG Selling Machine. This person must demonstrate the ability to take on most of the following responsibilities and should exhibit a high level of adoption of the behavioral competencies expected of this role. The Optima Solutions Site Manager is responsible for all the activities of PPG at one or more customer sites and is fully customer-facing. This position is responsible for the full management of a large organization at a customer site(s) or a smaller organization at a very large, highly complex customer site(s).
Key Responsibilities
1. Policy Development & Implementation: Develops functional or operational policies and helps develop policy frameworks for area of responsibility. Takes responsibility for creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation.
2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Develops and implements a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engages the customers in relevant sales campaigns. Acts as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints and resolves these, referring complex issues to others and ensuring that the customer receives an appropriate response.
3. Performance Management: Manages and reports on performance; sets appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and holds them accountable for achieving these; takes appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
4. Strategy Formation and Implementation: Develops tactical plans for optimizing resources and assets being managed at the customer site(s).
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Identifies and manages stakeholders up to management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
6. Leadership and Direction: Communicates the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explains the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivates people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
7. Organizational Capability Building: Evaluates the capabilities of staff to identify gaps and prioritize development activities. Implements the organization's formal development frameworks within the area of responsibility. Coaches and mentors others to support the development of the organization's talent pool.
8. Business Planning: Contributes to the development of annual business plans; forecasts performance against business key performance indicators; contributes with developing business cases for key activities/projects; and estimates the financial and human resources required to deliver performance targets.
