In Spain, the team is composed of six persons: Franz, Sales Director Spain; Rémi, Project Development Manager; Raquel, Funding Specialist; Carlos, Commissioning Engineer; Sergio, Business Developer; and Antonio, Combustion Process Expert. We are currently looking for our future Project Development Manager, located in Madrid or Barcelona, on a fixed-term contract to replace paternity leave (approximately 6 months). Starting date: March 2025.
Your mission:
1. Coordinate project pipeline in Spain until investment decision, under the direction of the Sales Director Spain.
2. Be the point of contact with engineering teams and external engineering local companies.
3. Participate together with colleagues in charge of Electricity sourcing to negotiations with PPA suppliers to obtain renewable electricity supply for H2 projects.
4. Gather and challenge all projects' capex and opex in a financial model, manage the financial model and derive H2 pricing.
5. Be the point of contact with grid operators to obtain connection permits for H2 projects.
6. Coordinate negotiations with landowners to secure land for H2 projects.
7. Monitor subsidies at regional, national, and European level applicable to Lhyfe Hidrógeno and offtakers projects.
8. Lead the permitting process (internally and externally) until obtaining the required authorizations to build and operate.
9. Coordinate new proposal(s): Knowledge of the bidding rules and call text for the subsidy to which Lhyfe Hidrógeno will submit the project.
10. Coordination of the technical-economic report.
11. Coordination of administrative documentation.
12. Communication with a consultant, if we have one.

Skills and requirements:
* Master's degree in engineering.
* At least 5 years of professional experience in development of industrial, renewable or land development projects.
