Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Benefits Specialist to handle our European payroll Benefits operations, coordinating with external payroll service providers across multiple countries and employees in Europe and the UK. This position reports to the Sr Director, Human Resources Talent Operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing: Process payroll for employees across 6 countries, with an expected increase in the short term, and a strong emphasis on European and UK payroll systems. Coordinate with external payroll service providers in each country to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution. Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and company policies.
2. Benefits Administration: Manage payroll-related benefits, including company car fleets, insurance plans, holidays policies, and other employee benefits. Liaise with benefit providers, and ensure accurate deductions and contributions are reflected in the payroll.
3. Data Management: Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, salary changes, and deductions. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
4. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver regular payroll reports to management. Conduct payroll and benefits audits and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Compliance and Documentation: Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations in the relevant countries. Ensure all payroll processes and documentation comply with legal requirements.
6. Coordination and Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the company and external payroll and benefits service providers. Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
1. 1-3 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist.
2. Strong knowledge of payroll processes in Europe, and the legislation related to them.
3. Full professional competence to work in English and Spanish. French and/or German will be a plus.
4. Background in managing payroll/benefits for multiple countries.
5. Proficiency with payroll software (Experience in ADP will be considered a significant asset) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
