About the Company
HIP is the leading investor in leisure hotels in southern Europe, with more than 22,000 rooms located in the top tourist destinations of Spain, Italy, Greece, and Portugal. HIP is looking for a Corporate Development Analyst for its Finance & Corporate Development Department.
Main Team Functions:
* Business Reporting :
Prepare comprehensive reports and board presentations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing findings and providing actionable insights. Host frequent touchpoints to deliver business insights.
* Capital Markets & Economic Research :
Provide intelligence on hotel transactions (purchases, developments, refurbishments) and relevant capital raises (debt and equity). Prepare benchmarking analysis at hotel at company level. Analyze and report macro and micro economic trends.
* Business Plans :
Collaborate with senior management to elaborate, update and refine hotel business plans.
* Hotel Valuations :
Lead the external valuation processes of the company, including organizing appraisals and maintaining robust support for the process (transaction comparables, trading comparables, yield and market trends).
* Cash Flow Modeling :
Create and maintain our cash flow model to forecast the company’s financial position. Liaise with the different teams such as Capex/transformation, Tax, Acquisitions, and finance to gather the inputs to feed the model.
* Special Projects:
Assist with the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards to track KPIs and value creation analysis across the platform to create meaningful reporting and drive digitalization initiatives.
Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance or corporate development.
* Excellent academic background.
* Experience in financial modeling and strategic analysis.
* Advance DCF, cost of capital concepts and USALI P&L allocation.
* Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to senior members and external parties, and build working relationships across various departments at all levels.
* Self-motivated problem solver with strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail capable of performing well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
* Responsible and collaborative, with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving results in a team-oriented environment.
