Job Description
We are Paack and operate in the logistics sector, specifically last-mile delivery. Since our foundation in 2015, our focus has been building an advanced tech-delivery platform to optimise, automate, and robotise operational processes. The goal is to ensure the best-in-class delivery experience.

Our headquarters are located in the city centre of Barcelona, and we have warehouses in various areas of Spain and Portugal.
In Finance, we are mainly in charge of those sets of administrative tasks that support business operations and provide economic insights for ensuring the best resource allocation for high performance and growth.
This is a crucial role to bring excellence to our administrative & financial area. It is important to review and manage accounting processes and records in a timely manner to ensure the integrity of the Group's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information, which is of fundamental assistance to the various stakeholders, both financially and operationally.
General responsibilities:
* Keep a crossed-management relationship with local accounting suppliers and auditors.
* Maintain accuracy of the accounting books.
* Ensure compliance with local accounting rules and support in taxation.
* Control and ensure the correct application of the company's administrative policy.
* Provide timely and accurate accounting information to the different departments.
* Ensure daily accounting tasks with the whole accounting team.
Accounting:
* Review and support urgent payment remittances.
* Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
* Review and update ERP accounting module master data.
* Review credit card interface.
* Take care of the reconciliation of supplier debit balances.
* Ensure accuracy of accounting and financial information.
* Be responsible for the accuracy and adequacy of accounting records in all areas (VAT, sales, interco, depreciations, taxes, etc.).
* Be responsible for the monitoring of fixed assets (inventory, assets under construction, etc.).
* Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
* Prepare ad hoc management reports as required.
Project Management:
* Support in developments and implementation of improvements in our ERP.
* Support in system implementation: administrative compliance.
* Support in opening projects: administrative tasks, communications.
Audit:
* Support to Local and Group Audit.
* Prepare the information for external audit.
About you:
We’re aiming to incorporate someone with a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in similar roles within fast-growth companies with international presence or experience in audit firms. Communication, people management skills, and experience with multicultural profiles and cross-cultural management are also required.
Other important skills are:
* Accounting experience in IFRS and Local GAAP (Spain).
* Professional English.
* Experience in reporting on public companies will be a plus.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics will be a plus.
