Customer Support Engineer for Agilent - Chromatography
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our team at Agilent. As a key member of our support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers by providing exceptional technical support and guidance.
As a Customer Support Engineer, you will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. This will involve troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, as well as providing training and education on the use of our products and technologies.
Your Responsibilities
* Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to our customers via phone, email, and on-site visits.
* Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Agilent's chromatography and spectroscopy products, including hardware, software, and applications.
* Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using various problem-solving techniques and tools.
* Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, both verbally and written, to understand their needs and provide clear instructions and guidance.
* Travel: Travel up to 75% of the time to customer sites within your assigned geography.
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biology, physics).
* 2-3 years of experience in application development, preferably with mass spectrometry equipment such as ICPMS, ICP Optics, or chromatography equipment like HPLC-QQQ, HPLC-QTOF, GSMS-QQQ.
* Proven ability to learn new products and technologies quickly.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient level of Spanish and English; Catalan is an asset.
