Italy Area Sales Manager
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for handling and developing a portfolio of hotels in specific destinations and the turnover generated by private sales in these areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Portfolio Elaboration: Identify eligible hotels and convince them to participate in private sales.
* Account Management: Commercial follow-up on existing partners and key accounts.
* Negotiation: Negotiate conditions of private sales, including competitive rates and inventories.
* Sales Organization: Analyze KPIs, plan, implement, and optimize private sales.
* Benchmarking: Analyze competitive practices to inform decision-making in line with VeryChic brand positioning.
* Competitive Intelligence: Identify new consumption trends, hotels, and popular destinations.
Additional responsibilities include attending major fairs in Europe and traveling monthly to key destinations.
Requirements:
* Natural-born business developer with robust knowledge of sales techniques (prospection, negotiation, deal closing).
* Sales hunger is a must; you should never take no for an answer.
* Highly motivated, results-driven, strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.
* Creative problem-solving capabilities.
* Autonomous, self-driven, and self-motivated team player who leads by example.
* Top-class presentation and communication skills.
* Comfortable in a fast-growing and changing environment.
Qualifications:
* Spoken and written fluency in Italian and English. Additional languages are a plus.
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in e-commerce and/or travel.
* Strong working ethics and adaptability.
