We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to oversee our key accounts in Spain and Portugal.
This person will successfully manage existing key accounts and target some new key accounts within the agreed budget and defined strategy, together with a respective team member.
This position is based at our plant in Igualada, Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for at least one multinational customer.
2. Define a 3-year strategy plan for the customer (segments, region, requirements).
3. Full P&L responsibility for the customer.
4. Utilize both standard and nonstandard contract terms.
5. Possess an excellent understanding of the company products and applications.
6. Manage a medium to long-term sales cycle.
7. Drive new and existing customer's technical solutions to create growth in their business.
8. Identify and evaluate new client projects and present updates to the management team on a regular basis.
9. Collaborate and coordinate the execution of new business with internal stakeholders and provide assistance in optimizing the client relationship.
10. Discuss developments with senior management and commercial teams during the sales and proposal process.
11. Provide sales plans, forecasts, and results.
12. Report in a logical, structured, and timely manner.
13. Manage the agreed network capital parameters with customers.
14. Ensure proper problem solving in case of challenges.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3-5 years of experience in account management working with Blue Chip organizations.
2. Experience in B2B packaging or similar manufacturing environment.
3. Technical mindset with manufacturing equipment desirable.
4. Good command of English is required.
5. Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
6. Able to communicate with confidence and knowledge on GPI products, machinery, and service.
7. Excellent attention to detail and disciplined project management skills.
8. Exceptional customer communication and presentation skills.
