We are looking for a supply chain analyst who will be responsible for all types of procurement activities. As a supply chain analyst, you will be a central point of contact for various supply chain activities. You will actively steer your responsible suppliers to ensure a constant availability of spare parts for the Global Mercedes-Benz after-sales organization. You will work in an international environment, collaborating with various departments on a global scale.
* Manage all logistic operations including all logistic assets to ensure timely and cost-effective spare part availability for all brands, considering a wide range of influences.
* Monitor operational parts procurement as well as operational pre-processes, e.g., quality approval process, packaging/load carrier, and purchasing.
* Ensure correct master data parametrization for accurate forecasting and order placement.
* Serve as the key account for your own portfolio of suppliers as well as for internal and external, direct and indirect stakeholders.
* Manage critical parts for urgent cases.
* Implement preventive risk management and steering.
* Initiate and perform cross-site demand and capacity management by participating in demand and capacity boards.
* Work closely with higher management and supplier developers in severe bottleneck situations, leading and moderating meetings with suppliers in escalation mode.
Qualifications
* University degree in Logistics or Business Administration.
* Negotiation skills at the initial stage with suppliers.
* 2 years of experience in supply chain activities.
* Conflict resolution and analytical skills.
* Resilience and flexibility outside of standard processes.
* Confidence in decision-making.
* Detailed logistic and technical knowledge.
* Independent working style with a strong ability to collaborate in a team.
* Fluent in Business English, both verbal and written.
* Preferably fluent in German.
* Proficient in MS Office and other IT systems like SAP.
* High social competence.
