About the Role
As a Digital Solution Area Specialist, you will play a crucial part in helping businesses achieve their digital transformation goals. Our Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) team is dedicated to matching customer challenges with Microsoft solutions.
You will work closely with our managed customers across industries, company sizes, and territories to identify their needs and opportunities. With your technical expertise and business acumen, you will lead virtual teams of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers realize digital transformation through cloud computing.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with Customers: Work with customers to determine their needs and identify opportunities to fulfill these needs with Microsoft Cloud technologies.
* Identify New Engagements: Surface new engagements that align with the customer's business strategy.
* Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with line of business and IT decision makers via phone, email, and social tools.
Technical Leadership
You will serve as the key technical leader, trusted advisor, and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy, architect, and adopt Microsoft Azure solutions. You will drive security in every customer motion and ensure Microsoft's Security portfolio is included as a holistic differentiator.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with the extended sales team, partners, and marketing to conduct whitespace analysis to pursue high-potential customers and develop a target list of potential business.
Deliver Results
Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets, including pipeline generation and activity-based targets; accurately forecast pipeline generation.
