Location: Onboard Luxury Cruise Ship (Worldwide Itinerary)
Salary: $5,000 USD Monthly (Tax-Free)
Contract: 4 Months Onboard / 2 Months Leave (Paid only when working)
Working Hours: ~10 hours per day, no days off while onboard
Start Date: Openings Available in February, March and April 2025

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine to lead high-end culinary operations onboard our luxury cruise ships. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an international, fast-paced environment while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Onboard, Chef de Cuisine roles are divided into two key areas:
Main Galley Operations – Leading a large team of up to 80 kitchen staff, overseeing high-volume production and service for the main restaurant, preparing mise en place for select outlets, and ensuring efficient execution of large-scale culinary operations.
Specialty Restaurants – Managing a smaller, independent kitchen team of 5-8 staff, focusing on a distinct fine-dining concept, ensuring consistency and excellence in a boutique-style setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a professional kitchen team, ensuring the highest culinary standards.
Oversee food preparation, production, and service to maintain quality and consistency.
Manage food purchasing, inventory, and cost control.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with the executive culinary team to enhance the overall guest dining experience.
Note: This is not a creative position – menu development is set by the corporate culinary team.
Requirements
Proven experience in fine dining, five-star establishments, or Michelin-rated restaurants (Rosette experience is a plus).
Previous experience managing a team in a high-volume kitchen .
Prior experience in a similar role on a cruise ship (Preferred but not mandatory).
Culinary School Certification.
Valid STCW Certificate, C1/D Visa, and Seaman's Book (or willingness to obtain).
