As the Head of Sales for CMC in Spain and Portugal, you will lead and develop the CMC retail business and manage the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and SCM team to achieve the sales plan for both countries with an office located in Barcelona city. You will report directly to the Director Sales International CMC Group in Sontheim (Germany).
Responsibilities:
Strategic:
* Leading the Spanish CMC organization and their activities with a team of 6 employees.
* Development of the Spanish & Portuguese retail market potential.
* Managing the private label business as well as the brand business.
* International Business Development as part of the CMC Group.
* Further development of the strategic and conceptual Private Label Business onto the next stage.
Operational:
* Steering of all market activities with the goal of long-term increase of revenue and profit.
* Annual planning of revenue and profit together with the team.
* Steering of sales prices and managing negotiations.
* Realizing Private Label Projects within timelines.
* Recognizing market developments and transferring those into profitable business.
* Managing customers.
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge about the Spanish and the Portuguese retail business, as well as supermarkets, discounters, drugstores, perfumeries, and other Beauty channels.
* Substantial experience with scaling-up business and responsibility for big retailers.
* Conceptual and innovative mindset.
* Pragmatic and hands-on mentality.
* Language: Spanish and English fluently; additionally, German and Portuguese would be an advantage.
