Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Measurement Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of measurement techniques for quantum systems. This position involves close collaboration with physicists, engineers, and researchers to advance our quantum computing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Design and develop advanced measurement techniques for quantum systems, focusing on high-precision and low-noise methods.
2. Oversee engineers and lead the direction of the characterization process to make it more efficient.
3. Implement and optimize quantum measurement protocols to enhance system performance and reliability.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate measurement solutions into quantum hardware and software platforms.
5. Conduct experiments to validate and improve measurement techniques, analyzing data to identify and resolve issues.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in quantum measurement and incorporate relevant innovations into projects.
7. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and researchers.
8. Document measurement protocols, experimental results, and technical findings for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
1. Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Quantum Information Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum measurements.
2. Proven experience in designing and implementing measurement systems for quantum devices.
3. Strong understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum computing principles, and quantum measurement theory.
4. Proficiency with experimental techniques and tools used in quantum measurements, such as cryogenics, RF electronics, and signal processing.
5. Experience with programming languages commonly used in quantum research, such as Python or MATLAB.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
