We are looking for an IT Lead to lead our Travel Insurance Customer Interaction Services.
This role is key to managing the full product lifecycle, from identification of business needs to implementation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring sustainability and cost efficiency, driving initiatives that expand our customer base and optimise the value delivered to the group.
The IT Lead is responsible for the delivery of features and user stories, providing the team with guidance on what must be delivered and ensuring the flow of the Product through the Squad Backlog.
This role has close relationships with different areas, including IT Leads from other teams, local and central business stakeholders of the Travel Transformation Team & Countries.
This role will mainly focus on the management of travel digital products:
* Be accountable for estimates on Change Requests, User Stories, and Project efforts.
* Develop and manage services as a product across their entire lifecycle: lead the ideation, development, launch, pricing, and continual improvement of innovative products to drive maximum customer satisfaction.
* Define the services from their conception to their launching/go-live and further maintenance.
* Build new services: technical solution selection, costing, recommended pricing, and recommended SLAs.
* Provide the Application owners with clear goals and aid in prioritising development so that sprints can be developed, and tasks assigned accordingly.
* Assist in shaping business requirements into viable and valuable enhancements.
* Manage and refine the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and optimise the value of the work performed.
* Schedule the sprint review, ensuring stakeholder attendance, and lead parts of the meeting such as summarizing work completed.
* Coordinate delivery of the final product to the appropriate users.
Experience - Studies - Skills
* Fast IT focused: ability to leverage AGILE methodologies, DevOps, and other rapid development solutions to solve business needs and shorten time to delivery.
* Experience in Agile Methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
* Technical background (preferably with Software engineering and coding experience).
* Experience in Web, UI/UX, and API Development.
* Desirable Insurance Business knowledge and proven experience working with insurance markets, preferably travel.
* Ability to work under pressure, quickly identify shifting priorities, and provide concise communications to appropriate parties.
* Ability to direct and design solutions based on available and future technologies and architectures.
* Ability to manage expectations, both internal and external, without compromising solution integrity in the face of shifting priorities.
