Arxada is looking for a Business Development Manager CDMO responsible for the acquisition of new customers and CDMO projects with a focus on customers from the pharmaceutical industries. Manage all commercial activities for the assigned customers and deliver results based on agreed commercial KPIs and project milestone completion.
Key Responsibilities :
* Accountability to meet agreed commercial targets.
* Meet (in person / remote) with customers (new and existing) to present the service of Arxada CDMO and to win and manage CDMO projects. Manage customer relationships.
* Preparation and presentation of commercial proposals and offers. Prepare and conduct contract negotiations / contract closings to ensure delivery of the budgeted NS and margin (short and long term).
* Analysis of the assigned industry / customers; develop and execute strategies to win new customers and new products by preparing customer-specific action plans. Document and measure progress and success rate via SF.com and related systems.
* Drive and own marketing activities like white papers, seminars, webinars, participation in exhibitions, and trade shows.
* Prepare commercial proposals and offers.
* Negotiate and close contracts.
* Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and projects.
Key Requirements :
* MSc. in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
* 5+ years of work experience.
* Strong existing network in the pharmaceutical industry, including CDMOs.
* Excellent negotiation and project management skills.
* Strong business acumen.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and manage multiple internal stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
* Fluency in English.
