About the Role: We are seeking a Social Media Coordination Intern to join our dynamic and international social media team. This role is ideal for someone with strong business and analytical skills to apply in the digital marketing space, rather than a focus on editing or creative arts.
You will support the optimization, organization, and management of the Agilent YouTube channel and other social profiles, contributing to our overall marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Social Media team to analyze user-centric data and reconsider the channel structure, including playlists, by identifying relevant keywords and search patterns.
2. Review and update video playlists to ensure they are current and meet our audience's needs.
3. Assist with quality control of content and implementation of best practices for social media.
4. Improve discoverability by recommending optimizations for video titles, descriptions, and tags in alignment with YouTube’s algorithm.
5. Help increase content appeal to enhance search visibility on YouTube.
6. Partner with the Social Media Team and stakeholders to oversee community engagement, managing questions and conversations.
7. Apply key SEO principles to ensure content is easily findable.
8. Recommend video structures to enhance viewer engagement.
9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across global teams and regions.
Qualifications
As this is a 12-month placement position, you need to be enrolled at a university, preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Science Communication, or Business Studies, and will be returning to that same course upon completion of the internship.

10. Currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Science Communication, or Business Studies, and usually returning to the same course upon completion of the internship.
11. Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is required
12. Some experience or knowledge of YouTube is essential; experience with YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok is a plus.
13. Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM principles is advantageous.
Skills and Attributes:
14. Passion for marketing with a deep interest in social media and YouTube.
15. Strong project management and organizational skills.
16. Experience or demonstrated interest in social media marketing and content creation.
17. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effective collaboration within a team.
18. Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to interruptions, and remain flexible with changing tasks.
19. Demonstrates autonomy and teamwork, with excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Educational Background:
20. Preferred: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Science Communication, or Business Studies.
This role is office-based at our state-of-the-art facility in Harwell (UK) or Barcelona (Spain). Upon successful completion of the onboarding period, the candidate will have the option to work in a hybrid model, working from home remotely one or two days per week.
