Job Purpose
At Vueling, we aim to revolutionize our social media presence by implementing innovative strategies that will improve our impact as market leaders. To achieve this, we are seeking a Social Media Manager who will lead the development of a new innovative social media strategy, driving impactful change and elevating our brand to greater success.
The Social Media Manager will be a key player in amplifying Vueling brand and driving business growth through innovative social media strategies. This role requires a passionate and data-driven individual who can craft compelling content, build strong community relationships, and deliver impactful results across all major social platforms.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
* Develop and execute Social Media Strategy
* Define and refine social media strategies aligned with Vueling's overall brand goals.
* Develop and implement channel-specific strategies for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, as well as X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
* Maintain and evolve the tone of voice across digital platforms to align with brand identity.
1. Content Creation and Management
* Manage Vueling social media team, which includes content creators, community managers, and reporting team members.
* Create engaging and high-quality social media content (text, images, video) that aligns with brand guidelines.
* Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
* Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to produce innovative and impactful content.
* Campaign management: plan and execute successful social media marketing campaigns to promote Vueling products, events, and initiatives.
2. Performance Tracking & Optimization
* Track and analyze key social media metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) to measure campaign performance.
* Identify areas for improvement and optimize social media strategies accordingly.
* Lead social media tools and partners with a data-driven mindset.
3. Brand Advocacy
* Represent Vueling's brand consistently and positively across all social media channels.
* Stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
* Be reactive, flexible, and productive on social media out-of-plan communications.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related fields.
* Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, MBA, or related areas.
Experience
* 7 to 10 years of experience in similar roles, with a proven track record of success in managing and growing social media channels.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
* Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
* Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for social media.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Essential experience in the Spanish market and preferably in the Catalan market.
