For GB Foods Africa, we are hiring a Senior Manager Market & Consumer Insight Africa to help further grow iconic African jewels like Jumbo, Gino, Bama & Jago.
Purpose GB Foods: “Celebrating local flavours” is to empower and take care of each of the local communities they belong to and to bring out their authentic flavours.
Today, with a turnover of around 1.5 billion euros and a team of around 3,600 people, they are the preferred choice of millions of consumers.

What will be your role?
We are looking for a dynamic insights manager who transforms complex data into actionable consumer, shopper, and market intelligence that fuels business growth and innovation. You will play a strategic role in leading data analytics, uncovering new growth opportunities, and optimizing our insights capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee 3 core areas:
* Build real-time dashboards and performance reports to support marketing, sales, and innovation.
* Ensure seamless integration of multiple data sources, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
* Leverage AI, predictive modelling, and emerging analytics tools to enhance decision-making.
* Organize & analyse complex data sets and transform them into actionable business insights that drive growth.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating insights into strategic action.
* Extract from the data key consumer, shopper & market trends to identify new growth opportunities.

Digital Transformation & Data Governance:
* Champion a data-driven culture, improving accessibility and understanding of insights across teams.
* Partner with IT, marketing, and external agencies to enhance data infrastructure & reporting systems.
* Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the company is at the forefront of data analytics & innovation.

Key Functional Skills:
* Deep expertise in data analytics, consumer & shopper insights generation, and strategic business intelligence.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) – usage level.
* Ability to transform complex information into growth-oriented business strategies & innovations.
* Strong capability to design & present results using highly engaging & simplified data visualization techniques.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing data reporting systems that drive business success.
* Work efficiently with external partners to leverage best-in-class data solutions & stay ahead of market trends.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, collaborate effectively across multiple functions & regions.
* Adaptive and flexible mindset to work with stakeholders across various cultural contexts.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements:
* 15+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, consumer insights, and business intelligence in leading FMCG companies, Retail & Consumer Panel data providers or the bigger Strategic Business Consultancies.
* Experience extracting and applying consumer, shopper, and market insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation.
* International experience, including data and reporting responsibilities across Africa, is highly valued.
* Fluent in English & French; Spanish is a plus (oral & written).
