* Drive innovation in health tech by developing scalable platforms that transform real-time biosensor data into meaningful insights.
* Shape the future of digital health by building solutions that empower people to take control of their metabolic health.
* Create engineering with a global impact by working on technology that reaches millions worldwide.
* Advance accessibility and compatibility by ensuring our solutions integrate seamlessly across devices and ecosystems.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Graph Database Engineer / DBA to design, implement, and manage our graph data infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our graph database ecosystem - primarily built on Neo4j.
If you’re passionate about graph technologies, knowledge graphs, and enjoy working on complex data models and high-performance query optimization, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
* Design and maintain graph data models aligned with business needs and product evolution.
* Administer and monitor Neo4j (AuraDB / Enterprise / Community) clusters in production environments.
* Develop and tune Cypher queries for performance and maintainability.
* Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate graph queries into microservices and APIs.
* Define and maintain data lifecycle, including backups, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
* Provide guidance on graph architecture, GQL design, and best practices.
* Develop and maintain automated monitoring and alerting for availability and performance.
* Stay up-to-date with evolving graph database technologies and help us evaluate new tools where relevant (e.g., Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph, etc.).
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of experience in database administration or data engineering.
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with Neo4j or other graph databases in production.
* Strong knowledge ofgraph modeling, Cypher, and GQL concepts.
* Proficiency in query optimization, indexing, and data performance tuning.
* Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).
* Understanding of graph algorithms and their practical applications.
* Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code is a plus.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
