Role Summary
The NTG Group Finance Projects Manager will provide leadership on short & medium term finance projects, that help to deliver improvements in Finance & Commercial processes and controls across the Group.
In the context of the Group Finance Vision, the role will be providing expertise and capacity to support finance in changing the ways they are working; introducing new technology to deliver measurable benefits which can be replicated around the Group.
Role Description
Reporting to the NTG Group Director of Projects the role will involve the following:
* Development of Finance Project Management Process to ensure projects are delivering desired outcomes in line with the wider Finance Vision.
* Formation and Management of an agreed Finance Project Pipeline, to ensure the projects are in line with the wider business priorities.
* Leadership of Finance Projects from initial scoping, through to execution and close down.
* Providing expertise and capacity to ensure the teams are able to deliver step changes in the way of working whilst delivering BAU requirements.
* Building solid working relationships with the NTG Shared Service Centre to help develop the capability in Sri Lanka and embed the SSC model.
* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Finance teams and General Managers.
* Ensuring any improvements or processes are delivered in the context of a wider shift towards implementation of an integrated ERP system across the Group.
* Documentation of key processes and procedures to ensure we are capturing the learnings of how we operate so that we can both share knowledge, continuously improve and help in future transition of processes / roles.
* Providing financial support for potential acquisitions and disposals / business reorganizations.
