AXA’s Management Committee is driving a unique strategic initiative - Digital Commercial Platform (DCP) – designed to transform AXA’s value proposition. Through DCP, AXA will serve existing and new clients and partners through an evolving business model, where the focus is on risk prediction, prevention and management.
AXA DCP relies on creating a platform of risk insights, risk management, and risk prevention capabilities to enhance and support our service offering to commercial clients. The platform will create value by monetizing unique capabilities and services for our customers, aggregating, and delivering insights from unique data sets with external partners, and fostering end-customer relationships in alignment with brokers.
AXA DCP aims to:
* Improve our underwriting pricing and claims capabilities across the commercial lines book of business of AXA Group
* Create a platform for risk management and prevention services
* Build an ecosystem of business partners
The Business Development Specialist role for AXA Digital Commercial Platform in Europe UK and APAC is an integral part of the team responsible for driving growth and success within this region. In this role, your responsibility will include:
* Supporting revenue generation within these markets in alignment with AXA DCP’s strategic plan.
* Assisting in coordinating activities related to the commercialization of AXA DCP services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and distribution objectives.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
In this role, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of customer and distribution strategies to achieve AXA DCP targets:
* Promote DCP services to internal users within AXA XL and AXA GIs, targeting relevant professional families such as Underwriters, Claims handlers, and client functions.
* Assist in coordinating with internal client-facing teams to promote AXA DCP services to external users and ensure strong internal and external adoption and usage.
* Support the AXA DCP Business Development lead Americas in setting the distribution strategy.
* Contribute to leveraging existing internal-to-AXA distribution networks and define broker distribution models tailored to local markets, client segments, and digital services maturity.
* Coordinate with other AXA DCP functions to ensure adequate marketing support and facilitate smooth client onboarding.
You will report to the AXA Digital Commercial Platform Business Development lead for Europe, UK & APAC.

* Exposure to client relationship management, sales, and distribution is preferred, with some experience in selling digital and non-digital risk management services
* Exposure to developing distribution partnerships, particularly with a focus on gaining familiarity with insurance brokers
* A demonstrated interest in business development and sales, with a preference for digital services is a nice to have
* Ability to inspire and create confidence and trust
* Ability to understand client needs and translate and prioritize needs
* Ability to create, grow and leverage a professional network
