At TalentBait, we build unique recruiting software that automates job postings on social media platforms such as TikTok and Spotify. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following Qualifications:
* Strong Communication Skills: You will lead a team, which means you must have excellent communication skills. You should articulate your ideas clearly and concisely and be a good listener. You should be able to communicate effectively in English with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of software architecture: You should be familiar with common architectures and software design patterns to help us create a scalable and maintainable product.
* Experience in leading and mentoring a team: You will coordinate team members, define processes, and make an impact on the whole organization. You can analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and provide guidance and direction to the team members.
* Agile Methodologies: You must be familiar with agile methodologies, like Scrum, Extreme Programming, and Lean. You have experience managing software development projects.
It's a plus:
* Knowledge of security best practices: You are familiar with secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, network security, security testing, or compliance.
* Experience with performance optimization: You know how to speed up CI builds or achieve a high score in Google PageSpeed Insights.
* Working experience with Google Cloud Platform (Firestore, Functions, BigQuery), Heroku, DataDog, or AWS.
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus but not required.
You will work with:
You will work with our technical founders and the technology team to build a strong engineering culture. As a tech lead, you will provide guidance and direction to the team by helping them to make technical decisions related to the software architecture and design, choosing the right tools and technologies, and ensuring that the software is tested, scalable, and maintainable.
You’ll ensure that the software meets necessary quality standards by applying best practices for code reviews, testing, and ensuring it meets the requirements. You’ll also be responsible for communicating technical decisions and progress updates to stakeholders.
The development team comprises five people based in Hamburg, Germany, and Barcelona. Our software development process is unique in a positive way. You'll work very outcome-driven instead of just output-oriented.
