Business Development Opportunity in the Spanish Market
Join a leading multinational company in the Packaging sector, specializing in the manufacture of flexible and sustainable packaging solutions for a wide range of industries, including food, consumer goods, and medical products.
Responsibilities:
1. Retain and profitably grow existing customers.
2. Generate new business with existing and new customers within markets under your responsibility.
3. Manage customer profitability to achieve the assigned profitability targets.
4. Implement price movements as required by the business to sustain targeted margins.
5. Prepare and present product and company presentations to customers and prospects.
6. Manage and coordinate responses to customer claims in collaboration with the quality and commercial departments.
7. Ensure customer satisfaction in collaboration with necessary departments.
8. Attend to price requests and manage the tender/RFP process for assigned accounts.
9. Oversee contract and SLA processes with the Commercial team.
10. Generate and maintain effective reporting according to the BU sales reporting policy.
11. Regularly update the CRM tool, particularly the business pipeline.
12. Provide forecasts and budgets for the business under your responsibility.
13. Maintain up-to-date market knowledge and databases.
14. Gather and assess market feedback regarding news and competitor activities.
15. Leverage Commercial Excellence capabilities, tools, and processes.
16. Channel ideas for product and service innovation to the company.
17. Support and provide input for the NPD process, proposing new products and innovations.
18. Participate in courses, training, and other forms of professional development.
19. Assist and replace other employees in the department when needed.
