Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Manager at Gimaguas. The Retail Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, managing the store and pop-ups team, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales, and overseeing customer service.
Pop-up Responsibilities:
* Proposal for references and stock to be sent to each pop-up.
* Coordination and management of stock/material/set design shipments from Barcelona, as well as coordination of stock at the local warehouse.
* Return of stock/materials/set design to Barcelona.
* Customs management for each shipment.
* Lead stock assembly in the stockroom and support store setup.
* Recruitment and hiring of staff.
* Team leadership, including daily operations and work shifts.
* Support for store staff - Daily pop-up operations (cash register balancing, visual merchandising and displays, general organization, and stockroom maintenance).
* Ensure the pop-up meets its objectives.
* Lead stock disassembly in the stockroom and support store disassembly.
* Research venues with specific characteristics and establish relationships with property owners.
* Search for and rent or purchase necessary materials (set design, pop-up materials, snacks, etc.).
* Search for cleaning companies (if not included with the venue) and other services such as Wi-Fi.
* Find potential locations for shipping merchandise prior to the pop-up (if not included in the venue) and storage for materials between pop-ups.
Store Responsibilities:
* Coordination and management of weekly stock shipments to each store, including new drops and restocking.
* Review general stock levels in stores versus online inventory and propose stock transfers.
* Weekly stock proposals for each store.
* Coordination and management of stock shipments to the logistics service from the store.
* Store inventory management.
* Visual merchandising in-store.
* Daily store operations (cash register balancing, visual merchandising and displays, general organization, and warehouse maintenance).
* Manage the store team calendar (monthly proposals) and coordinate vacation schedules.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Excel and customs processes.
* Background in engineering/business studies.
* Flexibility and availability for frequent travel.
* Experience in assembly/setup stores.
* Communication and team management skills.
* Previous experience in retail management is a plus.
* English proficiency.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
