With over 70 years of experience in the medtech sector, Palex group has established itself as a leader in providing innovative solutions. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a dedicated M&A Integration Manager to join our team.
About the Role :
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic M&A Integration Manager to lead and execute the integration of acquired businesses across our organization. This senior role is critical for driving value realization and operational synergy from M&A activities. The successful candidate will have the authority and autonomy to engage with C-level executives, manage integration efforts across multiple subsidiaries, and build and lead its own integration team.
Although the focus of this role will be on post-deal integration, the M&A Integration Manager will be part of the M&A team and have certain exposure to the full deal cycle to ensure alignment with the overall processes of the M&A team.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Integration Strategy and Execution :
o Develop and implement comprehensive integration plans that align with the strategic goals of the acquisition.
o Lead the end-to-end integration process, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure successful integration of acquired businesses.
o Identify and prioritize key integration activities to achieve targeted synergies and business objectives.
2. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication :
o Collaborate with C-level executives, including the Chief Business and Chief Corporate Officers of subsidiaries, to provide regular updates and ensure alignment on integration efforts.
o Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to complex integration challenges.
o Facilitate clear communication between corporate and subsidiary teams, ensuring consistency and transparency.
3. Team Leadership and Development :
o Build and lead the integration team, including selecting and managing team members.
o Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
4. Operational Integration and Synergy Realization :
o Oversee the integration of key business functions, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
o Develop processes to monitor and track the realization of synergies and report progress to key stakeholders.
o Address integration-related risks and issues promptly, ensuring resolution and alignment with overall business strategy.
5. Reporting and Performance Monitoring :
o Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports on integration status, risks, and achieved milestones to the Corporate M&A Manager and subsidiary leadership.
o Develop KPIs and metrics to measure integration performance and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
Qualifications and Experience :
* 6+ years of experience in M&A integration, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex integration projects across multiple locations and business units.
* Strong ability to engage C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on delivering results.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Travel Requirements :
* Must be available to travel within Europe, depending on project needs.
