A data-driven role focused on analyzing payment operations and fraud prevention patterns across distribution channels while leveraging advanced analytics to drive strategic improvements.
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute in-depth analysis of payment performance metrics using SQL, Python, or similar tools
* Build and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of fraud patterns and payment trends
* Develop predictive models for fraud detection and payment optimization
* Create comprehensive reports and data visualizations for stakeholder communication
Process Optimization:
* Analyze large datasets to identify payment processing inefficiencies
* Conduct statistical analysis to optimize payment acceptance rates
* Design and monitor KPIs for payment and fraud performance
Technical Integration:
* Analyze technical requirements for payment/fraud solution implementations
* Support API integrations and database management
* Monitor system performance and data integrity
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
* Partner with IT teams to improve data collection and reporting systems
* Support Commercial and Finance teams with data-driven insights
* Maintain relationships with payment and fraud solution providers
Education:
* University Degree
Experience:
* At least 3 years of experience in payments or fraud
* Proficiency in SQL and database management
* Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling
* Understanding of payment gateway systems and APIs

* Knowledge of payments (fraud knowledge is a plus)
