As a Junior Account Manager, you will be a vital part of LaFinteca’s Partnerships team. Your primary goal will be to nurture and expand relationships with banks and payment providers, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional partner satisfaction. You will serve as the bridge between LaFinteca and its strategic partners, helping to streamline processes, ensure efficient deployment of new partners and payment solutions, and act as the initial point of contact for external stakeholders.
This role is critical to maintaining seamless communication across partners, banks, legal, compliance, and other internal teams. Your success in this position will require strong organizational skills, a quick ability to learn, and exceptional communication, all within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Minimum Requirements
* 1–2 years in account management, client relationship management, or a similar role.
* A quick learner eager to understand LATAM payment solutions and internal workflows.
* Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; Portuguese is a strong plus.
* Proficiency in CRM systems such as Pipedrive, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
* Analytical mindset to monitor account metrics such as transaction volumes, fees, and service quality and provide data-driven recommendations.
* Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned banking partners and payment providers, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication.
* Assist in negotiating terms and agreements with potential partners.
* Assist in onboarding new banks and payment providers ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, compliance, and technology) to address issues related to settlement, chargebacks, and fraud.
* Support in resolving transaction issues, such as payment failures, delays, or reconciliation discrepancies.
* Assist with compliance and regulatory escalations involving banking partners.
* Track and analyze account performance metrics, such as transaction volumes, fees, and service quality.
* Prepare and present regular reports on account activity, highlighting opportunities for optimization or improvement.
