About the Role :
AvePoint is seeking a Partner Development Manager to recruit, convert, and enable prospective MSPs and VAR partners. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, building partner relationships, and other elements of the presales cycle leading to transactions and sell-through to the partners' customer base.
We are looking for creative thinkers who are confident and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset. You take pride in seeing your hard work pay off when you see the final results and are determined to help others succeed.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Proactively source new prospects
2. Nurture, cross-sell, and upsell existing MSP Partners
3. Collaborate with cross-functional team members in different territories to execute sales plays and build local relationships to drive results
4. Partner Sourced Revenue Target Achievement
Essential Requirements :
1. 5+ years previous partner management experience in the SaaS hemisphere
2. BA / BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar relevant field
3. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively articulate the company's vision, convey product changes, and adapt to new strategies. Candidates must be business fluent in Italian, as well as English.
4. Ability to execute in an environment where priorities change quickly, demonstrating agility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
5. Experience working for distributors is a strong plus
6. Entrepreneurial mindset and detail-oriented
