The Opportunity
Location: Vacarisses, Barcelona.
Effectively manage the administrative and operational processes related to the personnel of the PUIG VACARISSES Plant in order to strengthen the human capital of the Plant. The mission of this role focuses on assisting in the selection, retention, and development of human talent, ensuring that the policies and procedures inherent to the human resources area are correctly implemented and monitored. Additionally, the person must foster a positive work environment and collaborate in the development of strategies aligning the needs of the workers with the organizational objectives established by the Human Resources Director.
What you'll get to do
Labor Relations:
* Attend to any queries raised by the workers of the Plant regarding the collective agreements reached with the organization and the works council, as well as any issues inherent to the current labor regulations.
* Assist in the implementation of effective communication strategies to keep workers informed about labor relations matters, policy changes, and anything that may affect their working conditions.
* Assist in the payroll calculation process and the administration of benefits and compensations.
* Assist in managing vacation, leave, and license requests, as well as tracking the work calendar.
* Support the HR Directorate of the Plant in signing agreements, contractual novations, and other required documentation.
* Collaborate in the processes of monitoring temporary disability leaves/suspensions of contracts due to exceeding the maximum IT period.
* Support occupational risk prevention policies.
New Hires:
* Facilitate the onboarding of new employees, ensuring they understand PUIG's policies and culture, as well as providing the necessary information for their first days.
* Maintain control of contracts, permits, access, licenses, and other documents, ensuring compliance with labor regulations for both internal and external personnel.
* Coordinate with Personnel Administration the new hires by providing the necessary data and documentation for the worker's registration.
Recruitment and Selection:
* Coordinate the selection processes, job postings, CV filtering, candidate interviews, and collaboration with the various Teams in hiring decisions.
Training:
* Assist the HR Directorate of the Plant in preparing the Annual Training Plan of the Plant.
* Coordinate the different training sessions with the Managers of each area of the Plant.
* Register the training plan in SAP and track the completed training and attendance, as well as collaborate in the billing processes of the suppliers contracted for the various services.
* Help identify suppliers to meet training requirements.
HR Analytics / Reporting:
* Support the HR Directorate of the Plant in preparing reports on key human resources metrics, such as absenteeism, turnover, among others.
* Assist the HR Directorate in tracking the workday and absenteeism records of the Plant at both the industrial level and specific work areas.
We'd love to meet you if you have
* At least 4 years of experience in an equivalent position.
* Education: Degree in Law, Labor Relations, or equivalent experience in the area of Labor Relations.
* Languages: Fluent Spanish and English.
* Competencies: written and verbal communication, teamwork, task organization skills.
* Specific knowledge: Microsoft Office, SAP.
