Job Summary:
Manage technical accounting and tax compliance, financial and sales operation internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis. Interpret internal and external business challenges regarding sales operations and recommend best practices to improve operations. Stay informed of industry trends and law regulations that may influence workflows and company compliance.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Lead and supervise accounting transaction records and ensure closing according to company group deadlines.
* Play a key role in supply planning as part of the monthly integrated business planning process.
* Provide visibility to procurement and logistics, focusing on continuous improvement and business performance/KPIs of operational drivers.
* Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, identifying tax risks and developing solutions to tax problems.
* Track and generate KPIs and reports for supply chain accounting and finance performance to ensure timely decision-making and compliance with local regulations.
* Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers in Mexico, distributors, and internal teams, to analyze supply chain performance and forecast future needs for the EMEIA Region.
* Lead accounts receivable and payable processes, including revenue accounting, deposits applications, aging reports, and expense and inventory accounting.
* Supervise treasury functions, managing cash flow, forecasting cash needs, and maintaining liquidity to meet operational needs of the EMEIA Region.
* Lead legal compliance in the region and advise the headquarters and EMEIA office on compliance regarding operations and finance and accounting practices, policies, and implementation in alignment with local regulations.
* Lead the annual creation of EMEIA's financial budget and monitor rolling forecasts to align needs and communicate deviations to make decisions according to business objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in finance, logistics, administration, and legal tax.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and engage effectively.
* Willingness and ability to travel, including a valid driver's license.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
* Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
