The Centro Nacional de Análisis Genómico (CNAG) is one of the largest Genome Sequencing Centers in Europe. CNAG researchers participate in major International Genomic Initiatives, as well as in several EU-funded projects.

We are a team of 120 highly qualified people, organized into laboratory personnel, computer scientists, bioinformaticians and administration personnel, of whom more than 80% have PhD or Master studies.
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Junior People Assistant who is willing to start the challenge of working in one of the most important Science Research Centres in Spain/Europe.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Talent Attraction & Acquisition:
o Support in the recruitment and selection process.
o Publishing job offers: Drafting and dissemination of vacancy advertisements on job portals, social networks and other recruitment platforms.
o Reviewing CVs: Filtering and analyzing CVs received to identify candidates who meet the requirements established for the vacancies.
o Coordination of interviews: Scheduling and coordinating interviews between the selected candidates and those responsible for selection, ensuring the availability of both.
o Process documentation management: Organizing candidate files and keeping a record of the stages of the selection process (interviews, tests, assessments).
o Communication with candidates: Contacting candidates to inform them of their progress in the process, whether they are selected or not.
o Support in the Onboarding process for new employees.
* Training & Development:
o Assist in the coordination of training and development.
o Support in the incorporation and management of students and university agreements.
o Development of training materials: Assist in the creation of training content, manuals or presentations, depending on the type of training to be delivered.
o Recording and tracking attendance: Ensuring that employees register for and attend scheduled courses or workshops, keeping track of attendance.
o Manage and file employee documentation (contracts, files, etc.).
o Participate in the implementation of strategies to improve organizational climate.
o Assist with the new policies implementation.
Requirements
* Education and qualifications: University degree preferably in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
* Experience and knowledge:
o Previous experience in a similar position and science sector (preferred).
o Minimum of 1 year experience in talent management and training.
o Knowledge of Spanish Labour Law.
o Wide knowledge of Human Resources concepts and systems.
o Experience working with HRIS.
o Proficiency in written and verbal Spanish and English.
o Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
o Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills at all levels and the ability to effectively work with a variety of people and personalities.
o Proactive and self-starter attitude. Flexible and adaptable to different dynamics and processes.
o Detail/results-oriented.
o Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
